Never has the world imagined a scenario where the global healthcare industry would get so worked up in keeping up with a deadly pandemic. In need of a shot in the arm, healthcare and medical experts are urged to be deliberate about forward action particularly with respect to new innovation and technology’s impact on health, well-being, and healthcare systems. On the 25th of August 2021, MIGHT spoke on a panel at the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Health Futures Forum: Shaping the Future of Health. In the roundtable discussion, panel members shared their views on the lines between action and nonaction, and governance and policy among international speakers from medical, tech, and futures industries.
